Madonna was fined $249,750 by Wembley Stadium officials for breaking the venue’s curfew during the London stop of her Sticky & Sweet world tour earlier this month. The Material Girl’s show went past the 10.30pm curfew by 40 minutes when she played there on September 11th. She has been charged $92,500 for every 15 minutes past curfew. A stadium source says:

“The concert was meant to start at 8.30pm but Madonna didn’t come on stage until 9.10pm. The gig ended at 11.10pm so she was quite a bit over. Her people knew about the possible implications for going over the curfew but this is a pretty hefty fine, even for Madonna.”

Hefty? I would guess Madonna was able scrap enough pennies together to cover that. She may have to adjust her monthly entertainment budget though… tough break.

Madonna’s former nanny has written a tell-all novel that will detail behind-the-scenes information about the pop icon and her family.

Melissa Dumas worked for Madonna in 2005 and 2006 and never signed a confidentiality agreement. She was given a gag order when she quit but she never signed it.

The 80-page book will expose details of Madonna’s marriage to Guy Ritchie, the behavior of children Lourdes and Rocco, and the story of the adoption of Malawian baby David Banda.

A $5 million deal is rumored to be in the works.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have recruited a marriage guidance counselor to help them to save their relationship.

The recent adoption of baby David has bought about a media storm in the couple’s life and apparently their relationship has really suffered. According to The People, the couple have sought the help of a marriage counselor to deal with their crumbling relationship.

The singer and her director husband were reportedly having marriage problems before adopting David and facing the media backlash, but the situation has only worsened since they returned from Malawi.
